This Canvas course helps you prepare for teaching and learning remotely. We have carefully chosen a small set of software tools to offer the simplest means of remote instruction. These tools are:

  • Zoom for face to face lectures, discussions, consultations and assistance [learn more]
  • Canvas as the learning management system [learn more], including using Canvas and Respondus for Remote Exams [learn more]
  • Virtual Qatar as a remotely accessible computer cluster [learn more]
  • PowerPoint and Zoom for lecture recording [learn more]
  • VPN [learn more] and Box [learn more] for remote file access and collaboration
