Check-in 2 Presentation
- Due Apr 21, 2022 by 11:59pm
- Points 25
The amount of time you have will depend on which day you present on. Teams that present on day one will get 20 min to present and workshop with the class. Teams that present on day two will get 15 min.
These check-in presentations are mainly for your teams to get feedback from your peers and to serve as another source to tell that you are making useful progress. The scoring of the presentation is mainly to reflect the components we expect to exist in the presentation rather than the state of your actual project (that is for the check-in report).
These presentations should take the following structure:
- Brief description of your team and high-level direction
- ex: “We are team [TEAM NAME] and we are making a [PLATFORM] game to teach [DOMAIN] to [AUDIENCE].”
- A brief description of the current state of the game / work
- Describe where you are at right now
- Challenges you are facing/faced since the last presentation
- This is the main place to air anything you want to get the class’s feedback on
- Plans for next steps
- What do you want to have done by the next check-in/final
- A minimum of 5 guiding questions for the presentation itself.
As with the initial pitch there is no direct submission system for this assignment. Please submit your group's information to the Check-in 2 sheet of the Presentation Sign Up Sheet. Order is on a first-come first-served basis and please do not change anyone else's entries.
